Peer Review Policy
The journal Entrópico Arquitectura y Urbanismo employs a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and scientific rigor of the manuscripts published. All submitted articles undergo an evaluation process in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.
Process:
1. Receipt of Manuscripts: Authors must submit their manuscripts through our online submission system, OJS. Upon receipt, the editorial team conducts an initial evaluation to ensure that the manuscript meets formal requirements and aligns with the journal's thematic focus.
2. Assignment of Reviewers: If the manuscript passes the initial evaluation, it is assigned to two or more reviewers who are experts in the article’s thematic area.
3. Review and Decision: The reviewers assess the scientific quality, originality, relevance, and clarity of the manuscript. They may recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection. Based on the reviews, the editor makes a final decision, which is communicated to the author along with the reviewers' comments.
4. Revision of Revised Manuscripts: If a revision is requested, the author must submit a revised version of the manuscript, which may be re-evaluated by the reviewers.
