The Non-Exclusive License Agreement grants the following authorizations:
- By accepting this license, the Author(s) or Copyright Owner(s) grants the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña the non-exclusive right to archive, reproduce, translate, convert (as defined below), communicate and/or distribute their document in electronic and in open access format.
- Agrees that the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña may retain more than one copy of the present document and, without altering its contents, convert it to any file format -medium or support literature-, for purposes of security, access and preservation in its Institutional Repository (RI-UNPHU).
- Establishes that the present document is an original work, and/or that the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña is entitled to grant the rights contained in this license. It is also established that the present document does not infringe, to the extent possible, the copyright of any other person or entity contained herein.

- The Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña will clearly identify the name(s) of the author(s) and/or copyright holder(s) of the present document, and will abstain from issuing any modification to the work, other than those permitted under this license for purposes of presentation.
- Compendium or collective works may only be published in open access, if and only if the author holds the copyright to said publications. Articles that have been previously published may be subject to the contractual responsibilities that their authors have signed with their respective publishers, under which they are liable. In the event of Graduate or Thesis works, if the author has assigned the rights or signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), they must inform the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña in advance, and only the summary of the work with its bibliographic references will be published in the repository; the full version will be available at the UNPHU Central Library.
