Vol 71, No 1 (2025): La música y su influencia en el desarrollo y enriquecimiento humano.
Issue Description
Music, as a universal language and a means of expressing the deepest and most diverse emotions, holds immeasurable value and profoundly influences our emotions, memories, and sensations, thus shaping the cultural and social identity of individuals and human groups. Numerous studies have demonstrated its ability to generate energy and modulate emotional states.
At a neuroscientific level, it has been observed that musical rhythms activate various areas of the brain, stimulating cognitive processes such as learning and memory, while regulating stress-related hormones. In summary, music not only accompanies us in our daily lives but also has a significant impact on our emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being.
Aware of the need to strengthen the humanistic foundation of the education we advocate, AULA Revista de Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales invited authors from around the world to submit research articles on this subject, focusing on music as both a subject and an object, highlighting its importance and the various ways it influences behavior, human development, and individual capacities.
